Programme Overview
The Customized Professional Intervention (CPI) involves the design and delivery of workshops, seminars and training sessions aimed at improving the leadership competencies within the context of the national inspection framework.
Programme Objectives
The CPIs are aimed at:
- Increasing school leaders and their management teams’ capacity in priority areas and areas of weaknesses identified by the leadership team of the school.
- Strengthening the capacity of leadership teams to train or coach other educators and leaders.
- Buttressing or covering areas not covered in depth by existing programmes that the College offers.
Admission Requirements
A request for a CPI can be made by a Principal, Education Officer or a Regional Director which triggers a diagnostic assessment of the needs of the school based on its latest National Education Inspectorate report.
Programme Delivery
Professional development sessions can be delivered face-to-face or online via zoom or google meets.

Programmes Officer
Mr. Jodiê Smith has been doing significant work in the field of education for over 15 years in various capacities across Jamaica’s education system.
