Welcome to the Quality Assurance Division (QAD).
Guided by the Quality Assurance Framework, the QAD monitors and evaluates programme offerings, assessment and certification, as well as ensuring that all internal processes adhere to the requirements of our Quality Management System (QMS).
In April 2021, the NCEL received its ISO 9001:2015 certification from the National Certification Body of Jamaica which is an arm of the Bureau of Standards Jamaica. With this certification of our QMS, we consistently meet our customer requirements and continually improve our management processes through systematic and rigorous quality audits.
Other critical functions undertaken by the QAD include post-training evaluations, internal and external customer satisfaction, facilitator evaluations and assessment observations. The data gathered from these activities are crucial to decisions that are geared towards improving the quality of the services and products we offer.
