Programmes Officer
Mr. Jodiê Smith has over 15 years of experience in the education sector. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in computing and information technology from the University of Technology, a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of the West Indies and a Post Graduate Diploma in Education and Training from the Vocational Training Development Institute, Jamaica. He is also a Doctor of Education candidate at the University of the West Indies Open Campus.
Mr. Jodiê Smith currently holds the position of Programmes Officer at the National College for Educational Leadership and, in his current post, he has responsibility for the coordination and implementation of the Customised Professional Interventions (CPIs). Additionally, he has direct oversight for the design, development and delivery of assigned training programmes and professional learning solutions for school leaders.
Over the years, he has garnered a wealth of knowledge having previously worked as an IT Instructor, Management Information Systems Consultant and Lecturer at the tertiary level and is a published researcher. He has a broad set of interests in technology and leadership with a focus on issues affecting business and the education system.
Mr. Smith is a lifelong learner and technology integrator who aims to drive technology and innovation in leadership development.
