Chenora Brown

Administrative Support Officer

Ms. Chenora Brown is a graduate of the University of the West Indies where she obtained a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in International Relations and a minor in management studies. She, therefore, brings to the team a global perspective that contributes to the NCEL’s mandate to prepare world-class educational leaders. 

In 2021, Ms. Brown was on boarded to the staff of the NCEL and has served as Executive assistant to the former and current Director/Principal. As an Executive Assistant, she provided high quality administrative support to ensure that strategic objectives of the organisation are accomplished by liaising with critical stakeholders at various levels internally and externally, planning and organising meetings, enabling critical activities and maintaining a well-organised schedule for the Director/Principal.

In 2022, Ms. Brown was successfully recruited as Administrative Support Officer in the Division of Programmes. To this post, she brings her experiences and expertise to ensure that the training programmes and learning solutions are well-supported and meet the needs of pre- and in-service school leaders. 

Through her love for leadership and management, cultural relationship and an affinity to embolden and uplift others, Ms. Brown has served as a peer mentor for the UWI Mona’s First Year Experience; Placement and Careers Services and the UWI Mona’s Rotaract Club and continues to serve through her service to Education.
