Mrs. Racquel Hyman–Mitchell

Mrs. Racquel Hyman–Mitchell currently serves as the Financial Manager at the National College for Educational Leadership (NCEL) where she provides oversight for the College’s accounting and procurement processes, procedures and systems. With over 13 years combined experience in accounting and auditing, Mrs. Hyman–Mitchell has honed fiscal skills and competencies required to ensure the effective management of the College’s budget and revenue; she also has a keen eye for detail is a natural at meeting reporting deadlines. She also serves as a Facilitator for the College where she delivers the module “Administration of Public Funds” to school administrators across the island.

Mrs. Hyman–Mitchell is currently completing her Master of Science Degree at the University of the West Indies, Mona in International Public Development Management. A cum laude graduate from the Northern Caribbean University (NCU), she holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting; and has also completed a Diploma in Foreign Language with an emphasis in Spanish.

Mrs. Hyman–Mitchell has represented the College on a Study Tour to Grenada and currently serves on the National Primary Specialist Oversight and the Effective Principals’ Training Programme Accreditation Committees.
