Director, Quality Assurance

Terry-Ann Wallace is a quality-focused individual, empowered to impact, with over 20 years of experience in the education sector. She currently serves as the Director of Quality Assurance at the National College for Educational Leadership (NCEL), where she provides strategic and operational oversight of quality assurance for NCEL’s programmes, courses, and learning products. In this role, she ensures that every professional development offering, from design to assessment, upholds high standards, delivering a quality experience for all participants in NCEL’s professional development programmes. Additionally, as the Management Representative, she leads the management and continuous improvement of NCEL’s Quality Management System (QMS) as a trained ISO 9001:2015 Internal Auditor.
 
Before her current position, Ms. Wallace served as Senior Monitoring and Evaluation Officer at NCEL, contributing significantly to the Quality Assurance Division’s outcomes. Prior to this assumption, she worked as a Research Assistant at the National Education Inspectorate (NEI), where she managed and analysed data, drafted reports, and presented at training sessions and PTA meetings. Her career in data analysis began in the Statistics Section of the Planning and Development Division at the Ministry of Education.
 
Ms. Wallace has a Master of Education degree with an academic concentration in Educational Measurement. She also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Education and Training from the Vocational Training Development Institute (VTDI) with a focus on Workforce Development. Additionally, she possesses a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration majoring in Information Systems Management from the University of the Commonwealth Caribbean (formerly University College of the Caribbean). Miss Wallace is a team player, who is purpose driven and goal-oriented, and always seeking an opportunity to add value to others.
